All about the Trees

Robelle Domain is a 24-hectare parkland, at the heart of Springfield’s Town Centre at a cost of $30m to deliver, but if you ask the local community and the thousands of visitors it attracts, they will tell you it is worth every dollar. While everyone loves the interactive wet and dry playground with its artist-designed tipping water bucket, and the eight light towers that give a light and sound display every evening, and the iconic grass pyramids that mark the entry from the car park, and the tree top boardwalk, and the stepped water feature leading from the new swimming lagoon… we believe it is the existing Flooded Gums trees that were meticulously retained, are the real hero of this park. They are the inspiration for the structures, the furniture and the artwork. This park is second to none, arguably one of South East Queensland’s most popular parklands, we just love it as much as the community do.

Oh yeah, this one has won a few awards including a National Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture Award.

Robelle Domain is the perfect destination for Brisbane and Ipswich parents seeking more than just simple visit to the park, as it makes the perfect location for an entire day out with your Brisbane Kids in summer or in winter.
